Dr Kieren Simon Allinson BSc Hons, MB CHB, FRCPATH, EFN

Forensic Neuropathologist since 2014

 

Dr Allinson holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Science, a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery.


He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists with sub-speciality accreditation in neuropathology.

 

He is a European Fellow of Neuropathology.

 

Dr Allinson is currently a Consultant Neuropathologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge where he is the clinical lead for the Cambridge Brain Bank.

 

Kieren sits on the Clinical Practises Committee for the British Neuropathology Society and is programme secretary for the society.

 

Dr Allinson has written autopsy guidelines for the Royal College of Pathologists.

 

He currently has a large coronial practise, including many cases of Traumatic Brain Injury.
